 Before founding Ascent Coaching, I was and still am, an outdoor guide. My role has always been to possess the expertise needed to lead individuals or groups to their goals, whether in mountains, jungles, forests, on water, or through urban landscapes. The journey of guiding in nature aligns perfectly with helping people worldwide achieve their fitness, wellness, and life aspirations. With a rich background in military, classical, and modern education, and fitness, I bring over 20 years of experience to Ascent Coaching. My passion is in developing innovative training concepts, mentoring individuals and teams, and connecting with fitness enthusiasts around the globe. I thrive on generating ideas, tackling athletic challenges, collaborating with fellow coaches, and excelling in various environments.   • How Does it all work?
    •Schedule & Meet Your Coach on a Video Call This 60-minute video meeting gives you a chance to get to know your coach and for your coach to get to know you. During your consultation, your coach will ask about your goals, training experience, and lifestyle habits to begin the process of crafting a program designed for YOU to reach your full fitness potential. You and your coach will also meet for ongoing monthly video consultations. •Become a Ascent Coaching Client Get your Client Onboarding Kit. Complete your profile and submit your Intake Form and Equipment List. Your answers help your coach design your perfect fitness plan. •Perform Your Physical Assessment To get started, you’ll do an assessment. You’ll perform a variety of movement tests to identify your current skill level as well as establish your baseline level of strength and endurance. As you progress in your training, you and your coach will revisit your assessments, monitor progress, and ensure that you are constantly moving forward. •Start Your Training You’ll access your daily, individualized training and lifestyle program through the CoachRx app on your phone. Your coach will provide detailed notes and instructions for your workout. At the end of each training session you will update your training stats, review historic performance, and chat with your coach about your training. Your coach will use this data to guide your monthly consultations. •Refine Your Training, Lifestyle & Nutrition The best coaching relationships don’t stop when you step off the gym floor. Your coach will assess your nutrition habits and hold you accountable to the best nutrition plan for your goals. •Ascent Coaching is invested in you as a person, not just an client. Your coach will find ways for you to treat your mind and body better, so that your performance is optimal. Guiding you through the good, the bad, and the ugly times in life, your coach will help you stay true to who you are and what you want to achieve in and out of the gym. •Reach Your Goals You’ll have daily interaction and open communication with your coach, with instant messaging and monthly video calls. Your Ascent coach is with you for the long game and will help you navigate your goals and the evolution of your fitness journey through life.
  • What's included with the turn key programs?
    Our turnkey programs begin at $25, excluding additional coaching beyond what's included in the program. These programs are designed for you to follow along and monitor your progress. If you require more support, feel free to get in touch!
  • What type of people do you coach?
    I coach anyone who takes their fitness seriously, whether you want to compete in a sport or live a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
  • I don't have access to a gym, can we do body-weight stuff only?
    I do ask that our clients have access to a basic gym. While this may not look like your typical functional fitness gym, some equipment is necessary to reap the benefits within this system. However, if you are traveling or training at home I can program for the minimal equipment you have access to.
  • Do you do nutrition only?
    Luckily for you I will combine your fitness, lifestyle and nutrition needs into one service! I believe these three pillars need to be aligned for the best results in the long-term, so it just makes sense that you are supported you through all of them.
  • Are you a personal trainer?
    Nope, I am a coach. Personal Trainers train you for 30-60 minutes and are clocked out at the end of your session. Our coaches are not just here for your fitness. I see the most success from building healthy habits around the other 23 hours in your day... OUTSIDE of the gym!
  • Why is there a coaching agreement?
    Long lasting results take time... Rome wasn’t built in a day! I will invest in every client, and I want you to invest in me. By signing the agreement you are saying to your coach that you understand this is not a 6-Week Fix and that you’re not expecting to become an overnight success. You are committed to the process and are ready to make long-term changes to reach your full potential!
  • What will this cost me?
    Price will depend on your specific needs. Prices start at $25 for turn key programs (that doesn't include coaching besides what is in the program) 1:1 Coaching starts at $100 per session for in person and for Remote, it begins at $275 for the month.
